IDFC premiere equity fund will not be available for new subscription effective from 16 th may,,though subscription through SIP / STP will be continued.It was started accepting fresh applications from 31st march 2011.Scheme opens whenever fund manager thinks that stocks are fairly valued and get closed when predetermined corpus is collected.
This scheme dominantly invests in Midcap stocks and highest allocation is in FMCG sector.It has outperformed the benchmarka and cateogary returns and have provided returns of 22% CAGR since inception.
